Meet Miss Beetle - Marketing and client care manager. She is also the main "storm approaching" indicator. She has an eye for cleanliness and has very high overall client and patient care standards.


Dr Retief Botha

Veterinarian & Practice Owner (BVSc)

Dr Retief Botha is the senior veterinary director at Currimundi Veterinary Clinic, 710 Nicklin Way (Ph 5493-8222), www.currimundivet.com.au, info@currimundivet.com.au. Together with his wife Sue, they were the former owners, for 10 years of Maroochydore Veterinary Surgery.

Dr Retief has practiced as a small animal veterinarian since 1996. Qualifying in South Africa, then working in England, and since 2004 he has been serving the Sunshine Coast community, helping pets and their owners. He has an interest in skin diseases, dentistry and geriatric care, but is also a good allrounder practitioner and excellent surgeon. Dr Retief is looking forward to providing you with trustworthy, professional and value for money vet care.


Dr Linda King

Veterinarian & Practice Owner (BVSc)

Dr Linda is one of our senior veterinarians, and has lived in Currimundi for over 20 years.Dr Linda is a very experienced veterinarian.

Dr Linda has also completed a post graduate course in veterinary acupuncture and herbal medicine, enabling her to treat your pets holistically using a combination of traditional and alternative medicine.

In her spare time Dr Linda enjoys yoga and meditation.
 


Dr Anna Sri

Veterinarian (BVSc Hons)

Dr Anna qualified in 2014, and has worked at clinics both in Brisbane and Darwin, before finding her way back to the Sunshine Coast and Currimundi Vets. 

Dr Anna loves all aspects of her work, but has a particular interest in veterinary medicine, and public health. She is also president of the local Sunshine Coast branch of the Australian Veterinary Association.

Dr Anna is passionate about the environment and caring for our planet. She enjoys time off with her husband  Pete, and little dog Doogie.


Dr Leah Barth nee Leah Hodgins

Veterinarian (BVSc)

Dr Leah Barth (nee Hodgins) BVSc MANZCVS

Dr Leah is a general practitioner, and has a particular interest and qualification in veterinary behavioural medicine. Dr Leah Barth has studied behaviour in animals and provides her services in clinic at Currimundi Vets. She treats aggression, anxiety, barking and everything in between. Call us on 5493 8222 for more information.

On her days off Dr Leah loves taking a walk on the beach with her little active dog Ace.
In her spare time and on her holidays, Dr Leah enjoys adventures with her husband Ben, and baby son Jasper.


Nurse Sue Botha

Registered Veterinary Nurse & Assistant Practice Manager (Qualified Veterinary Nurse)

Sue is a very experienced qualified vet nurse, and has been nursing now for 36years. ...

Sue qualified in England, and has been head nurse in both large and small animal practice.

Sue has two cats Sizzles and Sushi, and Beetle a little jack russell cross.

 


Nurse Beccy

Veterinary Nurse (Certificate Four Veterinary Nursing)

Beccy started with the Currimundi Vet clinic as a work experience placement as she studied for her vet nursing cert 4, we loved Beccy so much we asked her to join the team. Beccy has continued to work hard to learn the practical side of the job, and has just finished her online studies and portfolio work to become a qualifed vet nurse, well done Beccy!!.

Beccy is a big softy for all animals, but staffordshire bull terriers are her favourite, infact she has two fo her own Zena and Zeus who she loves to spoil!

Nurse Lisa

Trainee Veterinary Nurse (Trainee Veterinary Nurse)


Lisa has been nursing for 10 years now, and currently holds a certificate two in veterinary nursing. She is also busy studying for her certificate four veterinary nursing too.

She has a huge passion for all animals big and small.She's been lucky enough to be a zoo keeper at The Monkey Sanctuary in England, a conservation worker with the Orangutan Project in Borneo, and a nursing assistant at the Elephant Park in Thailand to name but a few!


In her spare time Lisa loves singing, acting and taking part in theatrical productions and take her little foxie Pickles for walks.

 


Nurse Casey

Trainee Veterinary Nurse (Trainee Veterinary Nurse)

Trainee veterinary nurse Casey, initially joined our clinic as a work experience student, we loved her so much, we asked her to stay! She is now well into her vet nursing certificate 4 studies, and is daily gaining valuable knowledge.

Casey has a friendly and welcoming personality, and will make you and your pet feel at ease.

In her spare time Casey loves to surf, and spend time with her border collie Zep.
